Moms Talking to Daughters About Sex Workshop
A 4 week parent education program aimed at helping mothers navigate conversations with daughters about SEX. Please plan to attend all 4 classes. If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these questions, this program is for you!
- Is talking about sex that important?
- How do I start the conversation? What if my daughter doesn’t want to talk about it?
- What should I say? Or not say?
- What is the right age to bring up all the issues related to sex and intimacy with my daughter?
Notes:
- Topics covered include overcoming obstacles to talking about sex, intimacy, how our values impact conversations, assertiveness skills,consent, pornography, social media, alcohol and STI’s.
- Dates: Thursdays, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1 & 2/8 from 12pm-2pm

Format & What to Expect from our Parent Workshops
We’ll explore how you can overcome stumbling blocks that make it uncomfortable to talk to your children about sex and intimacy, and give you practical guidelines to help keep the conversation going with your children as they grow.
This class is a unique opportunity to go one step further than your typical puberty/sex education class.
Expect to come away from this program with new confidence about talking to your daughter about sex and intimacy and practical ideas for getting started right away.
