Moms Talking to Sons About Sex Workshop
A 4 week parent education program aimed at helping mothers navigate conversations with sons about SEX. Please plan to attend all 4 classes.
If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these questions, this program is for you!
- Is talking about sex that important?
- Why do I have to discuss sex with my son — don’t they cover it at school?
- How do I start the conversation about sex? What if my son doesn’t want to talk about it?
- How do concepts of masculinity and consent impact this whole conversation?

- Topics covered include overcoming obstacles to talking about sex, intimacy, how our values impact conversations, masculinity, consent, pornography, social media, alcohol and STI’s.

Format & What to Expect from our Parent Workshops
We’ll explore how you can overcome stumbling blocks that make it uncomfortable to talk to your children about sex and intimacy, and give you practical guidelines to help keep the conversation going with your children as they grow.
This class is a unique opportunity to go one step further than your typical puberty/sex education class.
Expect to come away from this program with new confidence about talking to your child about sex and intimacy and practical ideas for getting started right away.
